Last night I dreamed I was driving out in a rural area with a friend. The car broke down and we were at a driveway so we pulled in and went up to the house to ask to use the phone. No one was home we didn't have a phone and we weren't going anywhere so we went and sat on a side porch to wait and see if anyone would show up. As we sat there a car and a truck pulled up and we watched the man go up to the car and speak to a woman. Then he disappeared. We got up and were going to ask them for help when the man came through the porch door carrying a gun. He looked at me and said you are trying to steal from me and shot me. I thought I had put my hand in front of the gun to push it away from me as he shot. I looked at my hands and they were all bloody and I turned and stumbled down the steps and my friend came up to me to help me. Then I said I'm glad he didn't shoot you too and I fell face down in the dirt and I felt like I died. Then I woke up. All I can say is wow. I felt like that man did not care if I died and all I wanted was a little help. This is our new humanity!
