it is amazing how rome could be so evil and yet build beauty beyond belief. how can such hate thrive? brother against brother. hate overwhelming. no one cares who rules as long as they get what they want. everyone wants to see the dirt. and dirt is always there. and there are always rulers who thrive on giving what they want instead of what they need. it keeps them in office or it heckles them to their face. i see how it could be before and i see what it has become. peace, kate
